Using AI to Visualize Paint Colors

How AI Can Help Visualize Paint Colors for Your Home

Interiors:

Original Image

Working with a remote DIY client in Seattle, Washington, was an exciting challenge. She had three Sherwin-Williams paint colors in mind for her primary bathroom. To help her visualize the final look, I utilized a browser-based AI app called Home Visualizer (link below) that created the images you see below.

The process was straightforward. After uploading the original image of the bathroom, I used prompts that included the paint color name, hex code, and RGB values. While it took some trial and error to find the right prompts, the overall process was quick and efficient.

This AI tool proved to be an invaluable asset in the design process. It allowed us to see how different colors would look in the actual space without lifting a paintbrush. It’s a game-changer for remote projects, offering a level of clarity and confidence that traditional methods can’t match.

Incorporating AI into design not only speeds up decision-making but also enhances the client experience by providing realistic visualizations. This method is especially useful for clients who want to be deeply involved in the design process but are working from a distance.

If you’re considering a new paint color for your space, AI visualization tools can be a fantastic resource. They offer a glimpse into the future of your project, ensuring that you’re happy with your choices before making a commitment.

I designed this custom Craftsman-style home for a client in 2013. After 11 years, it was time for a fresh coat of paint. Using Hauska.ai, we were able to quickly explore various color options. This innovative tool allowed us to visualize different palettes in real-time, making it easier to decide on the perfect color scheme for the home’s new look. The ability to see the potential outcomes before committing to a choice ensured that the refreshed exterior maintained the home’s original charm while giving it a modern update.

More than just Paint!

While working with a client in Houston on her custom French country cottage, I needed a quick concept for the stone finish and garden. Using Hauska.ai, I was able to rapidly generate a concept based on my initial sketch. This tool allowed me to visualize and refine the design efficiently, ensuring the final concept aligned perfectly with the client’s vision. The integration of AI technology not only expedited the process but also enhanced the overall quality of the design, providing a detailed and compelling visual representation for the client.
